The key to being happy is choosing to be happy.
It’s that simple.
or is it?
Yes, that is the key.
That doesn’t mean you don’t have to
find the lock
put the key in the lock
and turn it.
The hardest part, mentally,
is making the choice to be happy.
Finding the lock,
that’s where I come in.
I’m here, everything on my page here is designed to make you think,
to find the lock in your own thinking.
Then to give you tools to help you turn the key.
Sometimes, all you need is help finding the lock.
Sometimes the lock is stubborn and stuck,
and that is where the tools come in.
The tools are endless.

Right now, think about CHOOSING to be happy.
Write it down.
“I CHOOSE to be happy.”
Now make a list of the things you think of just after,
the things that come at you, right off the top of your head.
You know, those things that when you said,
“I choose to be happy.”,
came to your head in the form of
or “except that…”
or “if so and so would just…”
Those are your locks.
Those are the things we need to use our tools on.
In the meantime,
repeat over and over.
“I choose to be happy.”
because it really is a choice.
