A Common

Right from the beginning…

I was raised, with my sister, by a single mom. We struggled at times. We didn’t have money or status.
I grew up in that life.
I married, and we have struggled at times as well. No way we have ever been considered “wealthy”.
I have had a common life.

In my life, I have had extraordinary moments.
So many extraordinary moments.
And the gifts that can’t be bought.
Memories from my childhood that will forever shape my decisions and views.   A wonderful husband who would literally lay down his life for his family. Children that are growing into people I really LIKE.  A grandgirl, growing much too fast. Another grand on the way.

If this is common, I’ll be common all day long.

Thank you, God, for my common, extraordinary life.
