Help Me to Help You…

How can I help you today?

Are you a Jerry McGuire fan?  I mean I like the movie but this line struck me even back in the day. It never occurred to me that I might need to HELP someone to help me out. I kinda thought that when I got to that person, it was then just up to them to do the work.

Through this series you’ve seen some of my struggles, and a few tips… but I have little when it comes to organization skills and a lot of life experience that you might find valuable… so help me to help you.

What are some of your specific struggles?

I figure I’ve been doing the homeschooling mom thing long enough that I might have some answers there for you. Where do you struggle in your homeschool? What do you worry about? What drives you crazy?

I’ve dealt with depression, and PPD. I came out on the other side of the muck, and have strategies to deal with the creeping crawling darkness that tries to get back in.

I’m an imperfect wife in a marriage that has lasted longer than a good many others. I might have some tips there too.

So let me know… where do you feel you need some help?

What is the best way to get that information from me to you?

I kinda like a conversation type format. One that feels more like we are friends having tea or coffee and just talking it out. Harder to do on a blog, but still doable.

I’ve toyed with the idea of a series. Emails and a blog post once a week or something.

What say you?

I want to help, you might need help, perfect combination… let’s get it together.
