New Year, Let’s Motivate Ourselves and Each Other

New Year, Let’s Motivate Ourselves and Each Other

Did you get all that?
We must motivate ourselves if we want changes,
but it is also important to help motivate others who want change.
Because this concept of change, it’s not always an easy one.
I have always found motivation in the five minute friday community.

Today’s word is ‘motivate’
And go…
I was motivated by Lara Casey to get some goal set up for the year.
Going through her goalsetting steps with my own little spin
I came up with my vision board for this year.

2018 goals

I intend to print it out and hang it where I will see it daily in full poster form.
So this is where I start off the year.
Going through last year –
which was quite a ride.
I learned a lot of lessons,
the most important lesson is that God will use us how he chooses,
not always how we would choose.

This year,
I will continue my focus of living the purpose God has planned for me.
But this year,
I’m really going to try harder to listen,
and to grow in my faith as I grow my faith.

And I plan to let you in on the ride a little more.
Because we can serve each other, and learn from each other,
and motivate each other,
IF we are open enough to share our journey with one another.

Drop your goals or vision board in the comments.

  1. I love your vision board! What a great idea! I’ve done some similar things via collage in my art journal, not written as specific goals, but things to inspire me to keep trying, knowing that God is my strength and I need to constantly depend on Him.

Blessings to you! I’m your neighbor at #FiveMinuteFriday.

  2. Hi Maxine! I love that you’re sharing your goals with everyone. You’re a brave woman! 😉 I’m walking right alongside you at the moment, learning to trust in God as he uses me how he chooses and not always I would like to be used.

Coming to you from FMF #88
