Practice the PAUSE

Practice the Pause

So first is the quote:
Practice the pause. Pause before judging. Pause before assuming. Pause before accusing. Pause whenever you’re about to react harshly and you’ll avoid doing and saying things you’ll later regret.” – Lori Deschene Author of the Tiny Budah books and blog etc.

 But then I saw this:
“Practice the pause. When in doubt, pause. When angry, pause. When tired, pause. When stressed, pause. And when you pause…pray.” – Unknown

Practice:

verb:
perform (an activity) or exercise (a skill) repeatedly or regularly in order to improve or maintain one’s proficiency.

Pause:

verb:
interrupt action or speech briefly.

I need to. How about you?
